Thinning hair has a reason,
and it's not something you did.

Four Grow & Glow bottles lined up on a bathroom shelf

Where you are now

Women who take this quiz usually notice more hair in the drain, a wider part or a lighter ponytail. Most have tried supplements or a shampoo that promised thickness, and heard that it's stress or age. That still leaves the question of why it's happening. None of it is their fault.

Where the answer is

Your next hair is decided at the root, a few millimetres under your scalp. Grow & Glow works there. You apply one dropper a day in about a minute. Nothing to swallow, no hormones.

In short: Most of what's sold for thinning works on hair that has already finished growing. Your routine works on the root that grows the next one.

Here's what your answers add up to

Women who take this quiz often describe the same slow change in one zone of the scalp. Where it happens helps explain why.

Your answers

  • More hair in the drain
  • A wider part
  • A thinner ponytail
  • More scalp in bright light

What you notice

Women who take this quiz usually notice it in one of four places: the drain, the part, the ponytail, or under bright light.

Whichever sign you noticed first, the slow change starts at the root.

Your answers

  • Other scalp serums
  • Vitamins or supplements
  • Several things

What you've tried

Most women arrive here having tried supplements, a thickening shampoo, a serum or a salon treatment.

Those products each have a job. None of them was aimed at the one zone that's changing.

What's actually going on

Thinning like yours is most often linked to DHT, the hormone pressure that can slowly shrink follicles. Women have it too, at perfectly normal levels. Some follicles react more strongly to it than others. That's why the location matters.

About nine in ten women whose hair is thinning have normal hormone levels, according to the American Hair Loss Association. So the amount isn't what's doing this. The follicles along your part and crown react to it more strongly than the ones at the back of your head. When researchers took scalp samples from the front and the back of the same heads, the front follicles carried more receptors for DHT, and more of the enzyme that makes it right there in the skin. That's Follicle Sensitivity. Same blood, same diet, same stress, and two zones on one head behaving differently.

Try this. It takes 30 seconds.

Pull one hair from along your part and one from low at the back of your head, and lay them side by side on something white under a lamp. Look at whether the one from your part is finer. Both grew on the same head, from the same bloodstream, so any difference sits in the follicles.

It's not a diagnosis. It shows you where to look.

Why this was never your fault

If you've been quietly blaming yourself, look at where the change is. Stress, diet, shampoo and the vitamins you forgot affected your whole head. The thinning is concentrated in one zone. That's the place your routine needs to reach. You weren't failing at this. You were fighting it in the wrong place.

So what actually reaches that zone, every day?

Where the next hair is decided

Every hair you can see has already finished growing. From the moment it leaves your scalp it's dead protein. What your hair looks like next year depends on what each follicle grows next, a few millimetres under the skin.

Where most routines work

On the hair you already have

Thickening shampoos, masks, oils, fibres and salon treatments make that hair look and feel better, and the effect washes out. Supplements go the other way, into your blood, spread across your whole body.

Where your routine works

At the root that grows the next one

Your routine goes on the scalp, in the zone that's changing, every day. It's the only place the next hair can be made any differently.

Look after your lengths however you like. The root decides what comes in next.

What one dropper does at the root

Grow & Glow does three jobs where Follicle Sensitivity happens. We call them Brake, Signal and Soil. Every active in the bottle is there for one of them, and the full ingredient list is on the label.

  1. Red clover flowers

    Brake: eases the DHT pressure

Red clover flower extract carries biochanin A, which slows the enzyme that makes DHT in the skin. In lab tests it inhibited up to 93% of that enzyme. It doesn't switch the hormone off or remove it from your body. It eases its effect on the follicles, right where it's made.

  2. A peptide serum drop

Signal: tells the follicle to keep growing

Acetyl tetrapeptide-3 is a small peptide modelled on the proteins that anchor a hair in its follicle. Paired with the red clover as the Capixyl complex, it was tested for four months against a placebo. The ratio of growing to resting hairs improved by 46%, while the placebo group's fell by a third.

  3. Coffee beans, the source of caffeine

Soil: looks after the scalp it grows in

Your scalp is skin, and it's the skin that grows your hair. Witch hazel and aloe calm it. Niacinamide, panthenol and hyaluronate support its barrier and the hair fibre. Caffeine, which kept hairs growing for longer in lab studies on human follicles, rounds out the set.

No hormones, no drugs, nothing to swallow. Vegan, leave-in, and it absorbs in under a minute without a greasy film.

Red Clover Flower Extract

Red clover flower extract with isoflavones nourishes the scalp, regulates the hair growth cycle and reduces hair loss, while soothing inflammatory factors for stronger and more resilient hair.

The figures come from studies of the ingredients, not of the finished serum.

Your four months, honestly

Hair grows about a centimetre a month, so a change at the root takes a while to reach the mirror. Here's what to watch for, and when.

  1. Weeks 1-2

Your scalp feels cared for, often calmer. Nothing to see yet, and that's expected.

  2. Weeks 3-6

Often still nothing visible. Some women shed a little more for a short while, as resting hairs make room for new ones.

  3. Weeks 4-8

The first sign: less hair in the drain, on the pillow, in the brush.

  4. From week 6

In some women, the first fine new hairs at the temples and along the part. None by day 60 is still on schedule.

  5. Day 60

Halftime. Put your photo next to the one from day one.

  6. Day 120

The verdict, at the end of your fourth bottle.

The routine has four check-ins on the same calendar, one a month.

Before you decide

Will it fit into my day?

Apply one full dropper to the scalp once a day, morning or evening, and massage for a minute. Don't rinse. It absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy film, so you can style as usual.

When will I notice anything?

Usually less hair in the drain first, somewhere in weeks four to eight. In some women, fine new hairs follow from week six. The fuller look takes months, because hair grows about a centimetre a month.

Why four bottles?

A bottle lasts about a month, and the routine runs four months, the length of the trial behind the Capixyl complex. Four bottles take you to your day-120 check-in without running out halfway.

How will I know it's working?

Take a photo of your part on day one, in daylight, and the same photo once a month. Compare the photos, not the mirror.

Can I use it with my other products?

Yes. You can keep using your shampoo, conditioner, oils and styling products, including volumising powder. Let it absorb first. Skip it on the day you colour your hair.

What if it doesn't work for me?

You have 90 days to send it back for a refund. Your month-three check-in falls inside that window, so you decide with your own photos in front of you, not from memory.
